¡USTED ESTA SEGURO EN EL AMOR DE SU PADRE!

Jesús dijo que cuando el hijo pródigo volvió a casa, él fue bienvenido en
el hogar de su padre. Recibió una túnica nueva, comió en la mesa de su
padre, y tuvo perdón completo. Pero eso no lo convirtió en un angelito.

Por lo contrario, yo creo que su padre tuvo que experimentar varios problemas
con él después de su retorno. Pero una cosa sabía este hijo, ¡que estaba
seguro en el amor de su padre! Él tenía que saber que su padre lo
aguantaría, trabajaría con él, lo amaría. Así es como nuestro Padre
celestial es con nosotros. Pero nosotros seguimos diciendo, "Uno de estos
días, voy a ser tan perfecto y justo ante Dios que le será fácil amarme."

¡No! Él lo amó cuando usted era un pecador, un malhechor, un enemigo de él.
¡Cuánto más lo ama ahora que usted se ha reconciliado con él! Dios ya le ha
dicho a usted "Te he amado cuando eras un extraño para mí, cuando estabas
en rebelión y en pecado. ¿Acaso no te amaré ahora más desde que te has
entregado a ser mi hijo?"

Nosotros no descansamos confiadamente en Su amor como deberíamos. Pero el
Señor dice de sí mismo que él ES amor. Juan escribió, "Y nosotros hemos
conocido y creído el amor que Dios tiene para con nosotros. Dios es amor, y el
que permanece (descansa) en amor permanece en Dios y Dios en él" (1 Juan
4:16).
