DIOS NUNCA, NUNCA NOS HA FALLADO

No importa lo que pase con la economía, no importa la crisis que enfrentemos,
no importa qué pena o problema venga a nuestro camino – NUESTRO BENDITO
SEÑOR NOS ESTÁ GUIANDO Y CUIDANDO DE NOSOTROS EN CADA PASO QUE DAMOS.

Dios finalmente repudió a aquellos que rescató de Egipto, porque ellos
dudaron y lo limitaron después de haber sido milagrosamente abrazados en sus
brazos amorosos. No es que simplemente Dios quiera que confiemos en él durante
los tiempos difíciles – él lo demanda. Por eso es que las Escrituras nos
advierten tan fuertemente sobre la incredulidad. Se nos dice que entristece al
Señor y nos cierra la puerta a cada bendición y buenas obras que él nos ha
prometido. Nuestra incredulidad, convierte cada promesa en "inefectiva."

Para nosotros en la ciudad de Nueva York, esto no es una teología muerta.
Tenemos que practicar lo que predicamos para poder sobrevivir cada día. Si no
confiáramos plenamente en las promesas del Señor y dependiésemos de Jesús
con todo lo que hay en nosotros, nos paralizaríamos de miedo y pánico. Las
calles aquí son como zonas de guerra; las personas viven en constante temor y
peligro, y los transeúntes son asesinados a diestra y siniestra. Los costos
para cuidar a los que ministramos son pesados, y las necesidades de las
personas dolientes son enormes. SI NO DESCANSÁRAMOS EN LAS PROMESAS
INQUEBRANTABLES DE DIOS, ESTARÍAMOS ABRUMADOS.

Pero no estamos abrumados – no tenemos miedo. Mientras los problemas se hacen
peores, nosotros nos volvemos más fuertes en el poder del Espíritu Santo.
