EL SEÑOR JUSTICIA NUESTRA

"Vienen días, dice Jehová, en que levantaré a David renuevo justo, y
reinará como Rey, el cual será dichoso y actuará conforme al derecho y la
justicia en la tierra. En sus días será salvo Judá, e Israel habitará
confiado; y este será su nombre con el cual lo llamarán: JEHOVÁ, JUSTICIA
NUESTRA" (Jeremías 23:5-6).

Dios le dio al profeta Jeremías una revelación de JEHOVA TSIDKENU en un
tiempo de crisis similar al que estamos enfrentando hoy. Así que, ¿qué
significa esto para nosotros, en términos prácticos? ¿Qué es esta justicia
de la cual él es Señor – y cómo debemos de conocer y entender a Jesús en
este rol?

Pablo nos da algunas respuestas sobre la definición de justicia de Dios en
varios pasajes.

• "Creyó Abraham a Dios y le fue contado por justicia" (Romanos 4:3).
• "A Abraham le fue contada la fe por justicia" (Romanos 4:9).
• "Así Abraham creyó a Dios y le fue contado por justicia (Gálatas 3:6).

Cada uno de estos versos se refiere a una cosa que Abraham hizo para obtener la
verdadera justicia: él creyó.

Finalmente, Pablo nos da del Señor la definición de justicia: "[Abraham]
tampoco dudó, por incredulidad, de la promesa de Dios, sino que se fortaleció
por la fe, dando gloria a Dios, plenamente convencido de que era también
poderoso para hacer todo lo que había prometido. Por eso, también su fe le
fue contada por justicia" (Romanos 4:20-22).

La Biblia no podría hacer este tema más claro. Justicia es creer las promesas
de Dios, estando completamente persuadidos que él mantendrá su palabra.
